Prayer
After completing Beth Moore’s “James, Mercy Triumphs” I decided to share with you what I learned from the life of James and his example of leading a life that was righteous, just and faithful to the Lord.
I learned that for me the most important thing is that I want to leave a legacy, a footprint on this world. I want to live a life so that people will know my name, not because I’m famous but because I live a life that is righteous, just and faithful just like James. I want to be the leader that I know I’m called to be and lead with boldness, integrity, honesty, steadfastness and truthfulness. I want to leave an impact on the lives I’ve touched and a space that will be difficult to fill once I’m gone because I loved them as Jesus loves them. I want my encounters with Christ to so greatly impact my life that I will never be the same. I want my words to be completely filled with His wisdom, love and grace so that when I speak or write there is no doubt in anyone’s mind – I am a disciple of the Most High God, the Lord of Lords, a daughter of the King of Kings. I want His heart, and His love for the lost to be stamped upon my heart. I want to be a reflection of my precious Savior, Jesus Christ. And I pray this prayer in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
